Popular Opinion Leader: This community level event is designed for those who know the community best.  The program encourages those members of the community, who are considered popular, to speak with their friends about HIV prevention.  Because of their popularity in the community, popular opinion leaders can help reduce the spread of HIV in our community.

Outreach Services: UHU provides outreach services throughout the DC metropolitan area.  From condom distribution to one-on-one conversations with individuals within the community, UHU’s outreach services are committed to insuring that individuals have the information and the protection they need to prevent the spread of HIV.
