Did You Know...

The House/Ball scene dates back as far as 1919 in Harlem, New York.  In the 1960’s, Balls began to be held as early as 3 or 4 am in order to make it safer for participants to travel the streets of Harlem —a tradition that continues to this day.

HIV Testing

Counseling and Testing:  When you’re ready to know, when it’s time to get tested, we can be there for you.

Free, safe, anonymous and confidential testing is available to the general public.  UHU provides OraQuick testing, a rapid HIV test that delivers results in less than an hour.  Our trained staff is available to provide clean, safe and confidential testing during the weekday as well as on Saturdays.  Testing is available Monday – Thursday, 10am – 4pm
